Today, you will meet your guide or our company representative for a detailed overview of the tour and to complete the necessary requirements. You will have the chance to ask questions, and our representatives will be happy to assist you whenever possible.

Today after your early morning breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7.30 am, and drive towards  south west of Arusha city to Lake Manyara National Park.

This park spans 325 square kilometers and features diverse landscapes like woodlands, grasslands, and swamps. It’s famous for tree-climbing lions, pink flamingos, and large baboon populations. With over 400 bird species, it’s a birdwatcher’s paradise. Enjoy game drives and scenic picnic spots, spotting wildlife such as giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and antelopes. Its a full day game drive, exit the park in a good time to enjoy your campsite before dinner.

Upon arriving at the camp and enjoying lunch, you will embark on a guided walk with a Maasai to a nearby waterfall. There, a refreshing natural water pool awaits, inviting you for a swim. The natural slide provides an exhilarating experience, while the water dripping from ferns creates a serene atmosphere. You can also indulge in a skin exfoliation treatment using the black volcanic sand found in the pool.

At 6:00 PM, we return to the camp to reflect on the day’s adventures by the fire, accompanied by a delicious dinner.

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit Lake Natron to see the lake’s famous pink flamingos, which gather in large numbers to feed on the algae-rich waters. Your guide will also point out other bird species and wildlife that call this area home, providing insights into the delicate ecosystem of Lake Natron before returning to your public campsite for lunch and leisure. After dinner, prepare for the overnight climb up Oldonyo Lengai, starting between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM. The climb is quite challenging, though not compared to Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru, with the ascent on some parts crawling on hands and feet taking at least six hours and the descent taking at least four hours. Early morning returning to the campsite for breakfast and rest.

In the early morning, enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee. After breakfast, we will visit the cultural village to meet the Maasai and Datoga communities.

We will return to the camp for a hot lunch prepared by our cook.

After lunch, loading our bags in the safari car, camping equipment’s, and then drive back to Arusha. End of our amazing adventurous trip.
