About Our Founder

Hello, fellow adventurers and wildlife enthusiasts! My name is Michael, and I am delighted to share with you the incredible journey that led to the creation of Vumbua Safari. It’s a tale of passion, conservation, and the relentless pursuit of a dream that now thrives in the heart of Africa.

My connection with the wild started at a young age, growing up surrounded by the fascinating landscapes of Africa. The enchanting tales of the untamed wilderness, shared by my elders, ignited a flame within me – a flame that would eventually evolve into the vision for Vumbua Safari.

I am also a Wildlife Manager by professional, and a former Game Ranger serving my time for wildlife protection at one of the Tanzanian biggest protected areas ‘Selous game reserve’
