Best time to visit:
June to October: Sunny, low humidity, little to no-rain. It’s a safari high season in Tanzania mainland, making it great for a combo trip
December to Mid-March: Hot and sunny with occasional short showers – whale shark’s sightings are more likely on this time near Mnemba and Mafia Island
Day 1: Sunset Dhow Cruise
Meeting at 16:30 hrs at your designated location e.g. Stone Town beach, as the day winds down, board a traditional dhow for an unforgettable sail into the golden hour. The wooden boat glides silently along the coast, catching the breeze as the sun begins its descent. Swahili music, the scent of the sea, and cold drinks create a relaxing ambiance as Stone Town’s historic skyline drifts by. It’s an ideal way to unwind, capture breathtaking photos, and experience the romance and rhythm of Zanzibar from the water. Return to the shore at 18:45 hrs and at 19:00hrs end of cruise. What a magical moment.
