Best time to visit:

  • Mid-July to Early October – Massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River in Northern Serengeti as part of the Great Migration.
  • It’s the peak season for dramatic scenes with crocodiles, predators, and frantic river crossings.
Day 1: Arrival Date, Meeting Day

Welcome to Arusha! Your adventure begins now. Set down your bags, take a deep breath, and refresh yourself with a cold drink. This evening, you’ll meet your safari guide for a brief overview of the exciting experiences ahead. Enjoy every moment and get ready for an unforgettable journey.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park | Cultural Tour

Today, after breakfast, your guide will pick you up at 7:30 AM for a scenic drive to Mto wa Mbu village near Lake Manyara. Upon arrival, local guides will show you Tanzanian culture by visiting farms, businesses, and a Makonde wood carving factory, ending with a traditional lunch at a family home. Afterward, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, pink flamingos, and diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and over 400 bird species.

Optional Activity: Night Game Drive (Need to be organised in advance)

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Full day

Today, rise early, around 6:00 AM, for breakfast. After packing your bags, you’ll drive directly to the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. As you descend into the crater, marvel at the stunning scenery and diverse wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive and endangered black rhinos that inhabit the crater floor. In the late afternoon, you’ll exit the crater and head to Simba campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti - Seronera

After breakfast, depart from your lodge in Ngorongoro and journey towards the magnificent Serengeti National Park for an unforgettable afternoon game drive. The Serengeti, renowned for the breathtaking wildebeest migration, is also home to majestic big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. As you explore the rich wildlife and sweeping landscapes, immerse yourself in the beauty of this iconic park. End your day with a delicious dinner and a cozy overnight stay in a tented camp nestled in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti - Seronera Full Day

Start your day with a hearty breakfast, followed by a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Witness the breath-taking scenery and abundant wildlife, including the big cats such as cheetahs, lions, and leopards. After the game drive, return to the campsite for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive to explore different parts of the park. Dinner and overnight stay at your tented camp.

Day 6: Kogatende

It’s another beautiful morning in the Serengeti after a night filled with the soothing sounds of nature. Today, we will depart Central Serengeti for North Serengeti-Kogatende, where you can witness the spectacular wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River into the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy an evening drive along the Mara River, awaiting the breath-taking moment when large groups of wildebeest make their crossing, truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Day 7: Kogatende – Full Day

Today, you’ll spend a full day alongside mara river to witness the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River and enjoy opportunities to observe and photograph diverse wildlife. Savor a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery and capture unforgettable memories throughout the day.

Optional Activity: Hot air balloon safari for a unique aerial view of the migrant wildebeest.

Day 8: Kogatende – Full Day

Day 9: Arusha/ Zanzibar (Flight)

Today is your grand finale. Rise up early morning, enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the endless landscapes of the Serengeti and Masai Mara. Load your bags and other belongings your safari jeep for one last chance to witness a memorable river crossing before boarding your flight to Arusha or Zanzibar at 11:30 AM.
