Michael, the owner of Vumbua, put together a dream trip for us. All we had to do was tell him our budget and what we were looking for, and he planned everything—from the flight to the accommodations to the visa. Simply perfect—just switch off your brain and enjoy🥰 Humphrey, our tour guide—and the best there is!—used his vast safari knowledge to show us everything and share his expertise on wildlife. Traumreise Rundum aufgehoben gefühlt. Alles sehr gut geplant. Immer da wenn man Fragen oder Probleme hatte. Hilfsbereit in beim allen, Visum, Versicherung, Impfung und noch vieles mehr. Authentic and heartfelt Michael, the owner, is the perfect person to organize your travel. Born in Tanzania and partly living in Europe he perfectly understands how to please everyone needs. In addition he fully understands how to make the best out of your given budget. We have enjoyed a great mixture of learning about the traditional life’s of the locals also the Masai. Have seen every animal including the big 5 during our various Safaris together with Humphrey - best Safari driver guide ever❣️ and enjoyed our hike of Mount Meru perfectly conducted by Alex, Eric and their great team❤️ Thanks Michael for making our first trip to Tanzania so adventurous, bright, colorful and relaxing. Für uns war die Reise ein Traum, den wir nie vergessen werden!! Asante Sana lieber Michael und liebe Stefanie Wir möchten uns bei Vumbua Safari herzlich für die Organisation unserer unvergesslichen Reise nach Tansania und Sansibar bedanken. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Weite der Serengeti und die zahlreichen Tiere, die wir aus nächster Nähe in jedem Park beobachten durften. Die Auswahl der Lodges in Arusha, Tangiere, Nogorogoro sowie in der Serengeti waren einfach unglaublich und eine super Auswahl von euch. Die Unterkünfte waren sehr schön, das Essen sehr fein und das Personal sehr, sehr freundlich. Unser Guide Humprhey Wilson war unglaublich engagiert und hat uns mit seinem Wissen begeistert. Er ist ein sehr toller, herzlicher und fröhlicher Mensch und er ist uns ans Herz gewachsen. Auch die Ausflüge und Kultur auf Sansibar hat uns sehr beindruckt, diesen Kulturunterschied zu unserer Schweiz hat uns fast ein wenig überfordert. Das Hotel war ebenfalls wunderbar und wir haben die Strandtage sehr genossen und konnten dabei unsere Eindrücke ein wenig verarbeiten.

Fanstastische, unvergessliche Safari Bei unserer Reise hat alles von A - Z perfekt funktioniert. Die Planung mit Michael und Stefanie war sehr unkompliziert und unsere Wünsche wurden entgegengenommen und eingeplant. Am Flughafen wurden wir von unserem Guide Humphrey herzlich begrüsst - Karibu - und in die erste Lodge chauffiert. Wir hatten während der gesamte Safari, 10 Tage, eine tolle und unvergessliche Zeit zusammen. Humphrey erklärte uns viel über die Tiere, Pflanzen, Kultur und er lernte uns ein wenig Swahili. Humphrey nahm auf unsere Wünsche Rücksicht und so erlebten wir zusätzlich atemberaubende Tierbegegnungen und schossen wunderschöne Fotos, asante sana! Die vier Lodges waren alle wunderschön, am speziellsten in der Serengeti. Es grasst nicht jeden Abend ein Flusspferd auf dem Lodgegelände. Zum Abschluss verbrachten wir noch 4 Tage auf Sansibar. Safari + Zanzibar Feburary 2025 We, a young couple, booked a customised safari with Vumbua Safari. As we are both working full time, the booking process via email and telephone worked perfectly for us. Michael catered to all our requests and made adjustments where necessary. Our safari was very varied as we also had the opportunity to do cultural activities to get to know the real Tanzanian culture beside our game drives. Michael's contacts were all very warm and locally connected. Michael knew everyone involved personally from his own time as a ranger and tour guide, including our very experienced driver Danford. So we were always in good hands. The various national parks were all breathtaking and very different. We would never have thought that such diversity awaited us. The time we travelled at the beginning of February was perfect! As there was a short rainy season beforehand, everything was green. We definitely didn't expect this and our expectations were exceeded. We were on safari for 10 days, which was the perfect amount of time to see everything without the need to hurry. We booked the mid-price range, the lodges were very nice and the staff were warm and helpful. The accommodation in the national parks was in the middle of nature and offered breathtaking views of the animals. Afterwards, Michael also organised our 7 day holiday in Zanzibar, which was a great way to round off this exciting time. Michael was always available for us and was able to help us immediately with any questions we had. We can highly recommend a booking with Vumbua Safari, everything went smoothly and it was an unforgettable trip.
