Best time to visit:
June to October: Sunny, low humidity, little to no-rain. It’s a safari high season in Tanzania mainland, making it great for a combo trip
December to Mid-March: Hot and sunny with occasional short showers – whale shark’s sightings are more likely on this time near Mnemba and Mafia Island
Day 1: Safari Blue Zanzibar
At 08:00am, pick up from Stone Town or your hotel and transfer to Fumba Village. Set sail from the southwestern shores on a handcrafted dhow for a full-day marine adventure. The Menai Bay Conservation Area unveils its secrets, coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, hidden sandbanks, and the chance to spot playful dolphins. At 12:00pm, after a snorkeling session in the Blue Lagoon, unwind with a seafood barbecue served on an uninhabited island beneath shady palms. The journey also includes stops at mangrove forests and natural tidal pools, blending Zanzibar’s marine beauty with quiet moments of discovery. At 16:00 hrs, sail back to Fumba village, followed by a return transfer to your hotel.
