Best time to visit:
- June to October – Dry season, best wildlife viewing “Elephants”, comfortable temperature and excellent visibility
- Mid-December to March – Lush Landscape -Hot and humid weather with possibility of light rain, animal tend to disperse due to water availability all over the park.
Day 1: A Day Trip - Tarangire N. Park
Your day begins at 6:30 am, with a hotel pickup in Arusha and a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle. Famous for its huge elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River, this park offers a true taste of Tanzania’s wild beauty.
Enjoy a morning game drive, spotting a variety of animals including, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and possibly big cats “lions, leopards and cheetah” alongside an incredible range of birdlife. Around midday, you’ll enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch near the river, watching animals gather to drink and cool off.
In the afternoon, continue exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and learn about its ecosystem from your expert guide. By 16:30hrs, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving around 18:30 pm, filled with unforgettable memories from your day in the wild.
